Now you have your material on your mat and your design mirrored it is time to cut.

Set your heat press temperature to 305 f.
Because we are using heat transfer vinyl you will need to apply heat to stick the design on your desired surface.
Use the heat press with firm pressure for 10 15 seconds.
If you re using an easypress you can check the cricut heat guide to find the correct temperature pressure and time settings for your project.
Peel up plastic backing from vinyl.
Lay a teflon sheet teatowel or pillowcase over the design.
Lay your base layer on your shirt sticky side down.
If you use a lot of heat transfer vinyl then you may want to get a heat press or easy press down the road but for today we will just focus on using an iron.
Apply the vinyl to the craft base or blank.
Before removing liner refer to the cricut heat guide to determine the peel temperature warm or cool.
You will use the fine point blade that comes with all machines.
You can use any of the cricut machines with heat transfer vinyl.
Place cricut easypress on then press cricut button to start timer.
Hold cricut easypress in place and apply recommended pressure until it beeps.
Apply heat to both sides.
If possible one that doesn t have a bunch of big steam holes on the bottom will work best but you can work with whatever you have at home.
I find that warming up the fabric gets rid of any moisture and makes the heat transfer vinyl stick better.
Flip base material and heat back side of design for recommended time.
